These two are so comfortable with each other and they just naturally connect with each other! A photographers dream :) It was such a fun evening capturing this exciting time in their lives and we really enjoyed getting to know them both.

Jess + Nick’s Love Story :)
Tell us how you first met? Who what when where why? Give us the gritty details.: Nicholas and I first met on a dating app called Clover. We both had literally just joined it the day before on a whim and the app connected us because we both like to “try new things.” Neither of us were looking to actually date anyone, it was just out of curiosity looking at dating apps. The next day, after we had been matched, he sent me a really cute message. After talking for a week on the app, we exchanged phone numbers and went on our first date here in Nashville. We instantly felt a connection; it had been like we’d known each other our whole lives. Long lost friends. We removed ourselves from the dating app by our second date.
When did you know he/she was the one? Was there something he/she did? Etc.: I knew within our first few weeks dating. Which sounds really strange out loud. I held off from telling him I loved him as long as I could, because it hadn’t been long. However, he kept saying, “I already know what you’re going to say.” It was obvious that we were both very happy we found each other.
ell us about the proposal. Did you see it coming, how long was it in the planning? How did you feel? Were you nervous, excited, and freaking out?: Nick proposed at the Biltmore Estate on a vacation. I thought we were going to just visit for the weekend but he had secretly been planning a whole other separate engagement trip for almost a year. He took me to the top of the hill overlooking the castle where there is a gazebo. Underneath the gazebo he pretended he wanted to take a picture of me from behind looking at the mansion. When I turned around he was on his knee! He then told me that we weren’t staying at the motel outside of town like I thought, but we’re instead staying on the estate grounds in a suite with reservations for a special dinner. We stayed all weekend and had an amazing time. Nick was nervous about all the secret plans and proposing and then became relieved when I said yes and that I was clueless the whole time. He did so good; it was magical and I felt so special! I truly had no idea. I just know I wanted to always remember seeing him on one knee asking me to marrying him, so I made him wait a bit before I said yes! The rest of the weekend was full of calling family, crying, staring at my hand, and spending wonderful, getaway time with my fiancé.
Tell us the one thing you love most about each other. : One thing? That’s too hard. I love how kind and ambitious Nicholas is. He works so hard yet thinks about others first. He also has a really strong relationship with his family, and he has a wonderful family!
Jess is the sweetest and most genuine woman I could have hoped to find. She keeps me honest with her often blunt truth and I love that she is a deeply caring individual while still standing up for herself.
Besides getting married - what’s the one thing you are looking forward to on your wedding day?: Is cake a bad answer? Ha! Seeing family and friends! Getting the chance to celebrate us.
