Ilze and Wil! These two wonderful people are getting married in a few short weeks at the beautiful Belle Meade Plantation and we cannot wait to celebrate with them. We had the pleasure of photographing their beautiful engagement session last fall at Lake Radnor and Printers Alley. If you have never visited Lake Radnor in the fall, you are missing out. It is such a beautiful hidden treasure in Nashville and you can even bring your dog. Their wonderful dog, Jake joined us for the session and he was a perfect dog the whole afternoon.Read More

We celebrated the engagement of Anna and Harry at Centennial Park in Nashville. Wedding rehearsals are a such a fun time for the couple getting married, the bridal party and all the family in attendance. Everyone is relaxed, laughing and just enjoying time spent together. These are all wonderful moments that can be captured beautifully by your wedding photographer. It is an great opportunity to get relaxed photos of family and bridal party together.
Another big advantage to rehearsal and/or rehearsal dinner photography is that everyone becomes familiar with the photographer before the wedding day. This can make the whole process flow so much easier on the day of the wedding. We all know each other when I arrive on the wedding day and everyone feels much more comfortable being themselves in front of my camera. The parents, bridesmaids, groomsmen are all comfortable with me and I am able to jump right in. Everyone is able to relax and be themselves without the need to spend time with introductions.
Photographs can keep all the memories of the rehearsal dinner alive forever.
There are toasts given, speeches made at rehearsal dinners that will not be made on the day of the wedding. Many times sibling and grandparents will give toasts and speak during dinner and it is a pleasure to capture these intimate once in a lifetime moments that happen before your wedding.
Your rehearsal is an equally important part of your wedding day memories and we would be happy to document it for you.
We met up with these two on a beautiful Sunday afternoon at the Capitol Building downtown Nashville. These are just a few of our favorites from their very windy engagement session.
There is such a natural connection between these two
We finished out their session at the War Memorial in Nashville. Despite the really strong winds this day, these two rocked their session. They were amazing!
An epic photo for a beautiful and very sweet couple
We met up with Ashlinn and Alex at Bicentennial Park for their engagement session. This fascinating couple met while in college at Carnegie Mellon, where Alex also proposed in the summer of 2015. They are planning a gorgeous wedding in November at the beautiful Heinz Memorial Chapel in Pittsburgh, PA. Here are a few of our favorites from their session.
We then moved to downtown Nashville and the Pedestrian Bridge to finish out their session with some gorgeous evening light.
