Simple words, but actually great advice for brides.
As you stand at the back fo the church (or any venue you have selected) adn wait on your big walk down the isle, it is very easy to let the nerves take over. Your mind begins to race and before you know it your standing at the front of the church and you have no memory of your long awaited stroll down the isle.
As we become nervous we take more shallow breaths which limit the amount of oxygen available to the brain. We loose our ability to focus as our heart begisn to pump faster to make up for the decreased oxygen levels.
The solution...Just Breathe! Stand up and take in a deep breath through your nose and hold it for three seconds before slowly releasing it. Do this 6 to 10 times and you will be able to focus much better. When photographing a wedding throughout the day we will tell our brides and grooms to take a deep breath. It really does help.
You've worked hard to plan every detail of this day, do not let any of it escape you because of lack of focus. Take the time, several times during your big day, to take several deep breaths and take it all in!
